Set of 2 Super Tiny Copper and Silver Replica US Coins
Two tiny coins!
This design is a miniature replica of the US $20 gold piece designed by acclaimed art-deco sculptor Augustus St-Gaudens and minted from 1907 to 1933. Allegorical figure of Liberty on obverse, with the American eagle in flight over a rayed sun on reverse.
- Two coins in each set - one copper and one silver
- Coins are 1 cm each
- Silver coin is 1 gram of .999 fine silver, mint condition
- Copper coin is 1 gram of solid copper, antiqued
The dies for this replica were originally prepared to privately mint a small gold piece that was sold through Sunday Supplements newspaper ads. The detail is quite good, so the ads depicted a close-up of the coin so that it looked much larger than it is, and the specification of the weight in gold was in the small print. They didn't actually lie, but the advertising and marketing was rather deceptive. We, however, aren't trying to deceive, these coins are tiny! Candy banana for scale.

Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.
We collaborate with many artists to create our coins. Learn more about our artists.
