Garth Gardener Hand
Ancient King of the Reach
Garth XII Gardener was a King of the Reach, his lineage tracing back to the mythical Garth Greenhand, who is said to have led the First Men to Westeros over the Arm of Dorne. The Gardeners ruled as Kings of the Reach until they rode to meet Aegon the Conqueror and met their end on the Field of Fire. These Hands are some of the oldest coins found in Westeros, and are known to be carried by Lady Olenna Tyrell and used to dupe offensive tolltakers, as they are worth half as much as a gold dragon.
This Garth Gardener Hand from the world of George R. R. Martin is struck from solid brass, measures 2.7 cm in diameter, and weighs about 5.8 grams. Coin artwork by Woody Maringer and Stan Peterson.

Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques.
