A Breeze is a medium-sized brass coin of Elendel representing 20 clips of value. It is known as a 2-spin or colloquially as a “breeze”. It features Lord Edgard Ladrian, Counselor of Gods, who is better known as Breeze, alongside the steel alphabet symbols for “20”. The reverse depicts the Eastbridge, a suspension bridge spanning the Irongate River set in front of the city of Elendel. The Steel Alphabet on this side translates as “Eastbridge”, and “20” at the bottom. Brass was chosen for the coin because it is Breeze’s allomantic metal.
Half-Spins are small zinc coins representing 5 clips, also colloquially known as a “zinckel”. Our version is minted in stainless steel for longevity. Both sides feature the Steel Alphabet symbol for “5” which is also the symbol for Zinc. The front translates as “Preservation”, while the reverse reads “Ruin” along the border.

Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.
We collaborate with many artists to create our coins. Learn more about our artists.
