The vinyl record. Truly an historic and captivating marvel of human ingenuity. We impressed a ‘mother’ design of grooves and bumps into dryable goo and when we heard the vibes from what we had made, said amongst ourselves, “It is good.”
Preceded by shellac mixtures, vinyl was chosen as the path forward due to better durability and sound quality.
Vinyl’s treasured legacy of bringing music into homes worldwide inspired us to create a one-of-a-kind record spinner that you can hold in the palm of your hand. Smaller than your average album, but bigger than your average HitClip, this spinner can be carried around in your pocket and spun to your heart’s content. Featuring our greatest (pretend) hits pressed into boldest brass, oxidized copper, and purest silver.
The spin point is swaged in place and permanently attached.
The contact point is a Si3N4 (silicon nitride) black ceramic ball that can achieve spin times up to 10 minutes. Softer spin points will wear and flatten, eventually reducing spin times. For best results, spin on a hard flat surface.

Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.
