Two-Year Calendar Coin
Seize the day…in the palm of your hand!
We heard through the SPM customer grapevine that calendar coins are a thing! A very special thing, as it turns out. These tokens have been integral to the pockets of many for centuries, providing a convenient way for everyone to check the date, or even the moon cycle, before paper calendars were widely available. This inspired us to mint our own spin on the little metal pocket calendar that has kept so many people up-to-date with the world!
This Two-Year Calendar Coin features an engraved calendar on each side, one for 2025, and one for 2026! If you want to check the date without getting sucked into your screen, just flip out this coin instead. For the hours in between, use it as a worry stone or add a keyring so you can decorate your daily planners, journals, tote bags, and more!
- Struck in solid copper
- Expert patina to highlight engraving
-
1.52 in (38.79 mm) in diameter
☞ Please note that the text is quite small to accommodate every day of each week! Time to dust off those magnifying glasses.
☞ Want to know something extra special about this coin? Both years will have repeating calendars in 2031, 2042, 2053, and more! Treasure this heirloom for the decades to come.
☞ Our Two-Year Calendar Coin is inspired by the Matchless Metal Polish Co.'s turn-of-the-century design currently on display here!

Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.
We collaborate with many artists to create our coins. Learn more about our artists.
