King Feyda Calanthis Breakable Vintish Penny

As King in life, Feyda is shown in chainmail flanked by soldiers below the sun. He holds a map and a downward-pointing sword. As King in death, the barrow draug Wizard King Feyda holds an upward-pointing sword and a branch of hemlock. Behind him are Greystones and a crescent moon. Feyda Calanthis was posthumously declared the first king of Tarvintas.
This coin was struck after Feyda died and is thinner than the coins struck when he was alive. The Penny is scored in such a way that it can be bent and broken in two - resulting in two Vintish Half Pennies. If you break this Penny to make change, it is only polite to offer the other party the choice of which half to keep.
Breaking your coin:
This coin can be broken without the use of any tools. We suggest pressing the coin against the corner of a table or windowsill to start the bend, then bend back and forth by hand until it breaks. Warning: this process is very satisfying and may become addictive. In our tests, there isn't much of a sharp edge on the Half Pennies. We recommend rubbing any sharp edge onto the other coin edge or on a rock to smooth the coins for daily carry.

Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.

The images of the trees and the alive/dead obverse are crisply detailed, so i got 1 to break and 1 to keep whole - or not, had to get a third...lol
Love the breakable option so much ...waiting for thick and chunky too! (we know - i can hope tho')
We made a limited run of the thick and chunky version, but it is exclusive to Worldbuilders. It's possible you can find some through them or someone reselling!
I love these books and therefore am always on the lookout for any related memorabilia! The packaging is great! I wish they didn’t use tape as it tore some of the packaging but aside from that couldn’t be happier to support Pat in all of his endeavors. The wax seals are an awesome touch! Thanks.
