Spins are medium-sized pewter coins, worth 10 clips. Our version is minted in stainless steel for longevity. The front depicts the city’s icon—a lion, representing strength—and completed versions of Tekiel Tower and the Ironspine Building, hallmarks of its industry. These are ringed by “Elendel” in the steel alphabet. The reverse numbers the octants and maps their major streets. The Steel Alphabet symbol for “10” is featured centrally.
Five-Spins, also known as 50-clips, are large stainless steel coins of Elendel. The front features Tindwyl, Mother of Terris, alongside “50” written in the Steel Alphabet on the right. The reverse depicts the tomb and monument of The Last Emperor and The Ascendant Warrior in The Field of Rebirth, with “50” written below.

Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.
We collaborate with many artists to create our coins. Learn more about our artists.
