The City Thirsts for War
A hot, humid city that sits on the Summer Sea in southern Essos, the Free City of Volantis is governed by members of two political parties: the merchant Elephants and the warrior Tigers. This necklace features an Elephant Party Honor. The coin has a "death's head" on one side and an elephant, crown, and the Valyrian words, "First Men of the First Blood" on the other. The Elephant Party has held the majority of the seats in power since the Century of Blood, so an Elephant Honor would be the more common Volantene Honor one would find in the city.

Our Process
Shire Post Mint coins are struck one at a time in West Fork, Arkansas, USA using solid metals, hand-engraved designs, antique machinery and traditional coining techniques. For antiqued coins, the coloring/patina process is done by hand, and it is both an art and a science so coins will vary slightly. Our unique packaging includes a description of each coin and translations if applicable.
